Broadcast Asia, 15th-18th June 2010, Singapore Expo

In June 2010 SGL will once again be showcasing its full range of content archive and storage management solutions to the Asia-Pacific market at Broadcast Asia. Senior sales and technical staff will be present throughout the show, and SGL solutions will be demonstrated on the Harris stand 7E2-01.

In addition, Howard Twine, SGL's Product Manager, will present a paper to the Broadcast Asia Technical Conference. This paper examines in detail the implementation of a digital archive for post-production and transmission workflows, based on a recent implementation between Pharos and SGL at HBO Asia. The paper discusses the challenges presented by such an implementation and the steps broadcasters should consider when undertaking similar projects. The paper will be titled HBO Asia: How to Manage A Digital Archive Workflow For Transmission And Post-Production.
